How to change the command prompt on Unix

Below is how I change the command prompt on IBM AIX Unix type.

It will set the command prompt on AIX to
"connected username"@"hostname of the server":"current folder full path"

[oracle@srvdb01]:/oracle > more .profile | grep PS
export PS1="[`whoami`@`hostname`]:\$PWD \> "
[oracle@srvdb01]:/oracle >
